PersonalStatement:

I'm SusannaRose Sykes, an artist originally from Queensland, Australia, and now thriving in Sydney. My journey, rooted in a Bachelor of Fine Arts and shaped by the dynamic world of set decoration in film and TV as well as a strong background in sign writing and graphic design with my family business Sykes Signs, is an exploration of vibrant colour palettes and expansive canvases. I specialise in crafting visual landscapes that provoke deep emotions and spark profound thoughts on a wide range of subjects. My heart lies in the intricate interplay of human emotions and the delicate beauty of flora and fauna. My art serves asa powerful lens into the human experience, inviting the viewer to explore the complex tapestry of human emotions and the profound connection we share with the natural world.
